I am Yuichi Ishida,
videographer from Japan.

I would like to tell my emotion through visual art.

My experience

I am a videographer, photographer, and editor. I am currently serving in a United Nations agency and 70% of my work is to make videos to tell stories.

I am particularly good at a short film synchronizing music and visual art. My approach for a documentary is to touch people’s emotion by sound design and cinematic visual images.

Yuichi was born in 1982 at Oita, Japan. Graduated from University of East Anglia for master degree of Art in International Development and Education, and University of Kokushikan for his bachelor degree.

HIs career started from volunteering in Ghana for teaching sport activities. Then he returned to Tokyo and served in a private company in oil and gas industry. After that he moved to East Timor to work in a United Nations agency. While serving in East Timor, he was fascinated by filmmaking. Since then he has made over 400 videos and been experimenting different kind of film making techniques.
